Jazzahead Bremen

Management JPQ went to Jazzahead in Bremen. He made a lot of contacts there. We hope it will result in lots of concerts abroad.

JazzStation Brussels

February the 11th I played with Pascal Vermeer and Arno Krijger at JazzStation Brussels (be). It's a great place with a superb ambiance and the people working there are truly great. Listen to the song Blue for you, which was recorded there.
31st of March 2012 there will be a jazz festival at 013, Tilburg. I will play there with this group.

Recording session with free impro band

The 4th of February I did a recording session with Jarno van Es and Rob Dirksen (Rub al Khali). In a beautiful room at the conservatorium of Tilburg we recorded three and a half hours of music. Now awaits us the difficult task to make a selection of about an hour.

Recordings Ruff Sound Quartet

November 20th and 21st 2011, we recorded an album with the Ruff Sound Quartet, at the Fattoria Musica studio in Ossnabrück (de). Together with Cris Weeda we did a two day recording, which resulted in nine great tracks.
These tracks have now been mixed and will be mastered soon.
In September a CD presentation is sceduled in Paradox Tilburg. We'll keep you informed!

Jazzahead!

Together with Management JPQ, I will attend the Jazz-fair in Bremen (de). On this three day event we have the opportunity to promote Joris Posthumus. You can find us at the MCN stand.

China

I was invited by State of Monc to replace their Alto-player for a tour in China. It was a wonderful experience for me. During our stay in Sjanghai, I had the opportunity to play with Benito Gonzales, the pianist of Kenny Garrett.
